Equipped with two full HD 1080p dashboard cameras, you can view live video, playback video, and tweak settings on the beautiful 4 inch touch screen. One camera goes on the front, and the other camera goes on the back, and you can view video from both cameras on the screen.
A power Sony EXMOR sensor captures the video, and you’ll get crystal clear pictures – enough to recognize a license plate in proper lighting.
To view and transfer videos, the DR750LW connects via WiFi to your smartphone(iOS, Android) – from the app, you can view videos, upload directly to YouTube, or manage the dashcam.
The dashcam has four different modes: Normal mode, which regularly captures video and keeps looping until you decide to stop, Event, which records when a jerk or bump causes it to record, Emergency, and Parking, which runs the camera even when your car is off(your camera needs to be plugged directly into the battery) and will take a photo every time it detects movement.
Even if the camera is plugged in to the car’s battery directly, there is a special power save feature which makes sure your battery doesn’t drain all the way, so you’ll never come back to a dead car.
Installing both cameras is very easy – a mount is included for both cameras and you can install it and get it up and running within minutes if you power it using the cigarette adapter.
GPS is not built in, but you can get an additional external antenna.
In addition to a smartphone app, you can also plug the camera into your computer and view videos using the Mac and PC BlackVue software. In the software, you can transfer and manage videos, and playback at slow speeds.
This camera is a CCTV, too!
If you hardwire your dash cam to your car’s battery using a device such as Power Magic Pro, you can record even when the car is off, and you’ll never have to worry about coming back to a drained battery, either.
